Herbal Medicine
Chinese herbal medicine is based on a system of herbal combinations that have developed from over 3,000 years of empirical observation, practitioner experience, and, more recently, clinical trials. There are a multitude of classical formulas comprised of a blend of herbs that can be used in their original composition or tailored to the individual patient.
Herbal formulas can be prescribed in capsules, tablets, granules, or raw herbs that are brewed into a tea.
Conditions commonly treated with herbal medicine include allergies, depression, anxiety, insomnia, fertility, menstrual pain, menopause, digestion, and fatigue.
